I decided, almost spontaneously, to swim laps this afternoon and went to a pool where I've never been before, but where a coworker of mine used to swim before she joined a gym with a pool. I've been extremely busy and now that I've finally got some down time, it is now extremely hot and I can't be up here on the computer any longer. But life is good.

I've been real busy!

I've continued to wake up around 4:30 or 5:00 in the morning, way too hot and hungry to go back to sleep, or at least not before 7:00 or so, at which point I sleep until 10:00 with my face in the mattress, a bad idea all around.
