Just got a rejection letter from UNCCharlotte.

Not holding out hope for UNCGreensboro.

Guess that means I'm moving to Greensboro, NC to take classes as a non-degree seeker.  Fun.

I seriously do not understand grad schools.

So I was on the waitlist for UNC-Charlotte.  My account hadn't been updated since Dec. 8th, they updated it that day to say "Complete-ready for decision" which means it's being considered.  After he told me I was on the waitlist in Feb it still wasn't updated.  I checked last week & it was updated March ( Read more... )

Applying to graduate school is so much more time consuming and difficult than applying to college.  You have to do so much research to get into a counseling program because in your personal statement you have to show that you know their curriculum front to back, need it for your life goals, and have also chosen their school because certain members ( Read more... )

One of my biggest pet peeves right now are people who assume that because you have a boyfriend that you don't need to hang out with anyone else. I hang out with my boyfriend everyday, but if someone else wants to hang out with me, I can hang out with them instead or we can all hang out together. I haven't done this since freaking High School: We have weekly quizzes on blackboard for my Counseling class, and this week I put it off til the night before. Only I got a raging migraine with nausea and sensitivity to light/sound and had to go to bed before I could get any work done. So I thought "I can take the quiz tomorrow before class."
