I was just trolling Epicurious for new recipes, and I have to say: whazzup with the reviews? I've never seen such a group of lousy braggarts before- it's like a locker room, only instead of T&A, people are bragging about recipe substitutions and food allergies. Bizarre. I'm hooked on the Midwest Teen Sex Show. Too bad this show wasn't around when I was in high school and seriously confused. Now I'm a lot less confused (about sex anyway), but still think it's hi-larious!

I initially brought up Wikipedia to look up a crossword clue, but soon I was off into unrelated topics:

My hair might be shorter now than it's ever been, except for the time I went to the crazy barber who thought I needed a change and gave me a buzz cut. I can just hear my mom wailing, "oh, chickyknicky, why don't you want to look pretty?"

Just another thing that Michael and I have in common- we like to dance in front of the mirror. And might I say, I've got some sick moves.

Peaches opened with an awesome choral version of The DeVinyls' I Touch Myself. That was the point at which Chris claimed to overhear someone saying "Look, there are old people here" (possibly referring to us). From that point on, it was us and the teenagers enjoying an awesome concert.

I'm hooked on a serialized audiodrama podcast called Wormwood. It's kind of like a combo of Buffy and Twin Peaks. It's got a Brit occultist who's a bit of a wanker and has a hand of glory for a left hand, a teenage girl ghost, a mysterious object of great power, a sinister librarian, and a host of other good stuff. Very fun.
