Took boyfriend to see X-Files movie this weekend! It was--well, it was the X-Files. Bizarre occurrences built up to a climax, leaving some room for interpretation and extrapolation afterwards. Meanwhile, Scully and Mulder were adorably in love. I don't think I wanted anything else than that.

So I saw Speed Racer last night, and now real life seems drab and dull in comparison. Shouldn't there be more colors? And, like, fast movements? Some blinking, flashing things maybe, or more speed lines?

We got Brawl on Sunday, and it's been a super fun game, etc etc. I played on a team with one of my friends for a good six hours or so and we kicked a lot of ass together. My job flip-flops between being insanely stressful and hideously boring--but most days, it's just boring. This morning I thought I'd do the very clever thing of bringing in my Metalocalypse season 1 DVDs to watch while I do my filing.
