Got dinner from Chouji tonight. Thank god I've got a roommate who likes to cook and doesn't mind feeding people. But I ran out of the dogfood I got from the labs, so I'm gonna have to swing by the little store on the corner when we go out tonight. And really get a job. Like, this week ( Read more... )

I'm writing home to my parents in the country soon, I'll ask my mom if she'll send over some venison jerky for Akamaru.

On second thought, I'll ask if she has any other kind of jerky, if you ever visit me back home in the country Akamaru may get too friendly with the deer...

Thanks, Shikamaru. We'd...really appreciate that.

How're your parents doin' with the deer?

[OOC: We need to catch each other some time to work out Apartment 9. I'll be online about 6:00 Mountain Standard Time, AIM screenname Kilerkki]

No problem, she's in taking-care-of-the-boys mode anyways and keeps shoving things on me, and most doesn't travel so well so far from the country and with this city's postal service which is...bluntly, I'm beginning to think they play basketball with the packages.

They're doing pretty good, the trackers recently showed that some young bucks had moved away from the main herd and are going further into the wild. Mom also brought in a pregnant doe and she had a pure white fawn...man, I wish I could go see...she's named her Shirayuki.

I've always enjoyed Physics ^^;; I do admit that it's one of the harder subjects for pupils to pick up - they always get this blank look when I try to explain anything to them.

Geez. Seems like everyone in this building likes Physics, except for me. Maybe there's something wrong with my brain. Or all of yours. I'm only good at the hands-on stuff--theoretical physics's too tough for me to clamp my teeth in.

Heh - well, anytime you need any help, Kiba, you know where to find me. It's not as if it would be a bother.

Did Akamaru like the soup okay?

I hope you find a job, they can be tough to come by. I was lucky with the coffee shop!

I loved physics. I miss that class.

Akamaru 'n I loved the soup--thanks much. Promise I'll treat you back sometime when I do get a job.

Unless, if you really want, I guess I could let you help me with my physics homework in repayment...

Yay! I'd love to help! I hope I remember everything, I haven't had the class in over a year but it was one of my favorites.

Whenever you want to go, I'm ready.

And I'm not very good at physics, either.

Let's say tonight after dinner? I'm gonna stop by the record place at 8:00, if you wanna come with me.

I lock the doors at nine so if you want to do this tonight, show up before then.

I'll come by about eight. Okay if I bring Akamaru? I can leave him outside or in the back, but he won't bother your customers or anything.

Don't worry about it, he can come in with you. The owner's dogs are here all day so bringing him to shifts with you isn't a problem so long as he's behaved.

Akamaru's better behaved than any dog I know. When I tell him to be, at least. How else d'you think I could keep a giant Siberian husky in a dinky little apartment like ours?
