I received an invitation to a multicultural event for Saturday. Um...is anyone else planning on going? I'm not sure I'd want to go alone. I don't really like crowds too much.

The walk to work isn't exactly something I like; it's cold and icy, and the cars always drive too fast, too close to the curb. But today it was actually nice. I hope everyone has a good Valentine's Day. It's a nice holiday. My boss gave each of us some candy, and I found a paper flower in my bag. I'm not sure who left it, but it made me smile.

The store is selling lots of Valentine's things, especially now that the day is so close. I always thought that was strange, how most people would wait until it was so close to get something. For Christmas, people are buying things months in advance. But Valentine's is supposed to be a really special day, right? To show your love for someone. ( Read more... )

I've been very tired lately. I wonder if it's the weather...? I hope whatever it is doesn't mean I'm sick, though. I don't have the money for a doctor, or the time to be out sick.

And, um, I've been forgetting to talk about the good thing of the day. Today someone helped a little boy pay for a candy bar. That made me happy to see.

I'm not sure if it's just me...but seeing Christmas things out already seems rather strange. Halloween just ended and I've seen wreaths and other things even before then. It just seems a bit silly to me, to skip two holidays for one that's still two months away ( Read more... )
