Where would you say you get your writing inspiration from?
Is it mostly from personal experience recorded somewhat verbatim or is it, say, based on books you've read where you write in that same style?

I signed up for nano (that national novel writing month thingy) and I have yet to type a word for it much less a sentence, but I am realizing that it is surprisingly hard for me to think in any sort of plot/novel style writing. Like dialog or even just plot moving details seem to elude me. I feel stuck in "LJ vent mode" whenever I try to write!

Anywho I always find your non-journal entries to read like excerpts from a book and I wondered if maybe you'd share insight into how one might approach writing like that or just what goes through your mind when you are writing it.

i would say that it is mostly personal experience written to me as it comes. i don't edit my work, i just allow whatever words come out to come out.

thank you very much though, for asking. i take this as a great compliment from you.

good luck, also!
