Nyonya Love Letters (Kuih Kapit)

The lunar new year is barely a month away and Y and I decided to make nyonya love letters (otherwise known as kuih kapit) with our pizzelle maker (Thanks, MC for the machine!!). Yum! Looks great and I'm sure it tastes wonderful too! Was given a box of pineapple tarts which were made by the contractor's wife. It looked exactly the same as how we used to make it and was thinking of you and how we used to sit there and cut out the shapes and slice little slivers to criss cross on top. Hope you're doing well!

Yes, they are awesome!! Light and totally falls apart in the mouth. I miss all of you and your help with making those patterns on the tarts!! It was so much fun.
