A Poem
You will hate this poem,
For I did not compare thee to a summer’s day.
I will not be traveling any road in particular.
There won’t be any elaborate metaphor---
Between America and a melting pot.
Nope, no similes.
No end rhymes.
Not even an onomatopoeia.
The diction is not up to par either.
Words, such as an epiphany and endless dark corner,
