Hard to believe the little man is already closer to a year than to birth. He is getting to be more cute and clever by the day as always. He can finally sit up on his own, and he knows how to say "Mama" and "Hi". It is sooo cute. He will look up when some one comes close to see if hey are looking at him, then smile and say "Hiiiiiii". Owen is getting a bit of hair and had some little tufts behind his ears that where about twice the length of everything else, so he had his very first hair cut today. It was the worlds tiniest trim, but his hair looks even cuter now.

I love TokiDoki, and I have always kind of liked LeSportSac, but the prints tend to be a yawn, so when these forces combined, it led me to lust after a bag they now make. It is tiny. It will not hold diapers (therefore will be pretty much useless to me for a couple years) not to mention I already have several bags. Plus it is about $110. Essh. I ( Read more... )

The ped. also said Owen could start having little bits of cereal and lumpy foods, so I gave him some Cheerios....he was baffled as to how to get them in his own mouth (holding them in his fist did'nt work like it does with a rice cake) but when I put one on his tongue, he scrunched up his nose, then smiled and laughed. Owen had his 6 month shots today, he was really upset this time....he seemed to know it was coming. He is just going to howl when ever we get to the pediatricians as he gets older: he'll get at least one at every well check-up until he is 5! It was rather tiresome...Owen has been cutting his upper teeth, so he was not a happy camper in the car.

I'll post some pictures from the trip some time soon-ish.

Also, I sent some piccies of Owen to a modeling agency, and they asked me to call and set up an interview for him...pretty neat. And now, back to sleep!
