Serious question guys, why is Russian goth music made in the tradition of the rhyming dictionary school of songwriting? It's so BAD.

I hear Russian pop's real bad, too. Maybe you should steer clear of shit that isn't at least two hundred years old?

I'm thinking that's probably wise. And man, Russian pop IS bad. Think of boyband/girlband pop of the early 00s at its most choreographed and vacuous, then think about it being even more so, but in Russian. Interestingly though, a lot of pop stars come out of really intense musical conservatories and then go make shit music on purpose.
