FUCK I WANT TO WATCH THIS NOW. I've never finish First Gundam. Should I give up on watching First Gundam TV, watch the movie and then watch this? Because this is amusing.

The thing with First Gundam is it's SO HARD to get all of the TV episodes, but the movies actually work quite well as a substitute. You could watch those instead and be fine. You could probably skip right to Zeta if you know what happened in the first series. The only thing I don't recommend is watching the Zeta movies as a substitute for Zeta since that isn't what they were for. (The subtitle "A New Translation" kinda gives that away I think.)

IT'S REALLY FUN TO WATCH. ZETA IS ALWAYS ENTERTAINING.

I've got the movies but yeah, never gotten all of First (just two of the dub DVDs and even those are hard to get - wtf Bandai). I'd wanted to watch the TV version and then the movies, but... yeah. ^^; Probably not happening like that any time soon.

I have a downloaded copy of the movies until I can get all of the TV series collected (fansubs of course). I actually like the dub, but yeah the DVDs are a challenge to get, too. I know the movies are for sale in this nice movie collection box set I've been wanting to get, but I've been putting off buying that for... no particular reason. Lazy I guess. Maybe I'll do that some time this month.
