I had accupuncture done a few months ago. I'm not sure if they'll accept a donation until a year afterwards. Like getting tattooed. I'll have to look into it, and get over to Stanford if I'm still eligible. o_O

I talked to a receptionist about half an hour ago. She asked if the doctor used sterilized needles, as opposed to someone doing it out of their home. :D

I'll have to make an appointment to get over there sometime next week. Even though I still get creeped out every time they do it. o_O

Thanks for helping to get the word out. People who are CMV positive can save plenty of lives, but we sure do need the CMV negative folks to help the babies.

i cannot and will never be able to donate blood again. i have big honkin' issues with this.

I've never gone back to give blood after they said to me, "go away with your tiny useless veins!"
And then I got tattoos at regular intervals.
I've just gotten another one. But giving blood is a very good thing. I probably won't for a while, but if I were to do so -- What say you? Lie, lie, lie? Or wait the six months/whatnot?
