haha Megs I was just messing too. It's cool. No biggie. Wait you DO have a Rocky Horror Shirt!!! I want to go to one of those movie enactments sometime. That would be hot. And you should come.
And oh, my Fish. You should give an abstract opinion just to stir things up worse.
Do you actually think that the readiness or legality of abortion is going to change the rate at which people engage in sexual activity? Let's think about this here... what girl goes into a sexual encounter with the mindset of "well if I get pregnant, I can just abort it anyway." That just doesn't make any sense to me. Abortion has been known to be a very gruesome process, one that causes alot of trauma to the woman, and this is one of the most important reasons as to why alot of girls hate the idea of it. Girls have sex because they want to. They might have protection used if they don't want a kid. If it isn't used, they sure as hell aren't saying "well I can just abort it if needed." No girl wants to go through that.
You might see more abortions happening if abortion becomes more readily available. I'm not doubting that. But you will not see a sudden increase in sexual activity. Abortion simply does not act as a fail-safe here. It's the least desired scenario and it is taken as a last resort
anyway. i don't hate you. and your el jay only reminds me of certain things i hate about humanity. i don't hate liberals all that much either. because i am starting to look at myself as more of a libretarian. or librarian. or whatever. i like books. i just hate people who are opinionated to the point that they shove down people's throat. and i await the "you don't have to read my el jay, so i am not forcing you to listen to me." comment. which is cool. i don't have to read it. so you aren't forcing anything on me. but it seems like you do force your views on a lot of people. IE protests, organized chaos, yelling a shitty bands lyrics really loud(sorry, that was mean and malicious. i just don't like system...relient K anyone

To Em--No I do understand what you're saying. And I understand that you couldn't bring yourself to do it, or to see your friends do it. That makes sense to me. It's not like I am all gung-ho about abortion. My platform is not to force women to do it, it's to know that they have that right. Regardless, I do get what you're saying. I'm not totally insensitive to the issue

OH MAN I remember that. And Joe was like "your paper sucks."
hahah I don't think he said that...
I don't know if I told you guys this, but Megs and I didn't get home until way late, and I was on the computer at 12:30 typing that paper...fell asleep on the keyboard at about 2:30...woke up at 4:30 and kept typing until I had to take a shower and go to school.
