I found myself alone by a side walk. And in case you don't know, sidewalk + you - friends = getting in touch with yourself. So out of no where, I start thinking about life; you know, all the "deep" things. I realized I kept asking myself the same question, "What have I accomplished in my life?" and everytime, I could not produce an answer. Which ( Read more... )

Accomplishment really depends on one's own perception, many are too self-critical and too self-demanding so they never really notice all of the accomplishment in their life. Accomplisment can range from getting a good grade on a test, getting into musical, losing weight, getting into college, getting to a higher a level on a video game, it depends on what's important to you and whether you deem it important enough in your life.It doesn't always have to be some huge, grand, explosive thing. Also accomplishments and there meanings change as people get older but everybody has accomplished somethig, big or small, in their life. Just think of all the things that make you proud of yourself in your life and i'm certain you'll find some of your accomplishments. I'm certain many of the people around you notice them and are proud of you for them, sometimes it's just harder to see the things about ourself good and bad.

You're right. There are accomplishments made everyday. It just varies; it could be a great accomplishment, but it could also be the most dreadful accomplishment. I mean almost everyone has different views of what an accomplishments are.

I ask myself that very same question alot X_X it's usually triggered by some emotionaly push. lol this might sound kinda cheesey but after i watch movies like v for vendetta or the constant gardener i just feel like i have or purpose or that i wanna save the world..like wow crazy empowering...jajajajjajaaa....

I think maybe at some point in your life( when your older and more experience =) ) you become happy with what you have and the life you've led. Idk maybe that's all abunch of BS -____- my opinion at least

I do the same thing lol.
I agree that one of the things that leads to happiness is experience, and the way a person applies his/her past experiences to contribute to future experiences.

anton, what are you saying? you have accomplished a lot; for one thing, you are one of the most talented and hardworking people i know...and you're also really smart. and i know that although you may be too young to have achieved something that you'd think is worthwhile (come on, we're in high school), if you keep up the way you've been going, you'll achieve a whole lot more in the future =] you're amazing!

You really are an inspiring person to be around with whether it is on stage or in live journal :)
A lot of what you say is true. Although life itself may be "too short" I believe that there is time to grow into something more (with the application of hard work, determination, dedication...etc lol)

thanks Linda
