I wish I had someone to talk to that I could be completely honest with, besides C of course. I'm allowed to be open in my journal, but its the only place I can be. Even then, I feel like I need to censor myself ( Read more... )

Why can't you make friends in Seattle? Sorry if I missed an earlier post ... but is C not letting you go out to lifestyle events or is it a work thing?

Either way.. you need to figure out a way to meet people. I know that I love my friends from work dearly..they're great fun amazing people. But I need my support system of friends who understand the D/s side of my lief..and I'm not even in a relationship. Personally I think it's incredibly important that you somehow reach out and find lifestyle folks to connect to. If just because sometimes you need to talk to someone who understands your relationship.

I'm sorry to hear you're feeling isolated there. What about going to some of the more low key things, or going to fet nights wearing a mask & using a nickname? I guess it depends on why exactly you aren't able to go out to things.

What about internet support networks? I know it's not the same, but it might help.

*hugs* feel free to post, email, msn anytime.

Feel free to talk to me.

Also, my friend from BC is coming to TO but via Seattle. Any chance they could crash for a few hours at your place? You would quite like them.

When are they going to be in Seattle? Female?

I'll have to run it by the man, but as long as I'm here and get permission, it should be fine :)

Message me on msn sometime.

So uh actually, because of recent developments in my relationship, I won't be able to entertain your friend when they pass through. Sorry!
