I'm breaking my long Livejournal silence to say that this morning's NPR Morning Edition's "Book Club" about Hamlet has totally made my day. I hope others of you (ahem, Ryan and Josie) have enjoyed it as much as I have. I'm hardcore geeking-out right now.

I have a lot to be thankful for right now. For the most part, I'm very content to be where I am, doing what I'm doing. It's not permanant, and it's not perfect. But it's a decent approximation. There are small children moving in next door. As in, 2 and 4. With their (very) young mother and two roommates. Who gave me an odd look when I told them we went to Macalester (a look I translated as "spoiled rich kids") and an even odder look when I said I majored in Classics ("useless spoiled rich girl"). I just had a fun little behind-the-scenes jaunt over half the museum trying to find my boss's office, a copy machine, and HR (in that order). The problem is that half the stairwells have access to half the floor levels, and some open out onto the actual museum (instead of office corridors) sometimes.

Good times.

I'd like to get a 'real' cell phone and dispose of this pay-by-the-minute crapola. Is anybody particularly in love (or hate) with their phone/service? I don't need anything big or fancy at all, just a reasonable deal and good coverage that will work most places in the country, since I don't know where I'll be in a year.
