Ryan is out shopping for a piano.

I'm spending the day at a polo tournament and then going to the Tap.

All is right with the world.

I was offered the clerk job at the Science Museum just now.

My life is officially in order. 2 part time jobs, 20-25 hours a week each, within a 10 minute walk of each other, averaging $11 an hour, no nights or weekends, doing very different things and building experience in different ways.

And now I'm going to go play polo.

Kate: (deeply engrossed, reading aloud) S..sp...e.r...sperm..a. (chuckling to herself as her eyes trail to the bottom of the page.) oo-OH! It means seed! (laughs harder, goes immediately to computer to post in Livejournal)

I haven't studied for my Greek quiz tomorrow. Not one iota. (Which sounds like a greek letter, but it's not. I don't think, anyway.) And I have to get up in 7 hours to work.

I'd say about 10% of me cares. Whoopee!

A little while ago (like over a week) I realized that a lot of things have happened in my life since my last real substantive update, which I have not passed on to my faithful LJ readers. ( This seems like a pretty straightforward/unbiased account of events in New Orleans from a couple of paramedics stranded there while attending a conference. It's a worthwhile, interesting, mind-numbing and bone-chilling read. )
