I'm sorry that happened to you. Getting removed is always rough, so getting removed after a decade is even rougher.

Yes, especially if you don't even have the slightest clue why. :/

Oh well, I guess it can't be helped. :)

Someone did that to me recently and I was baffled, so I sent her a PM and never got an answer. Rude! Usually, when I get defriended, it's because we didn't really connect and it makes sense.

Yes, right. And with those people you usually don't care that much anyway - after all you didn't connect, so it makes sense.

But when things like that happen you're just surprised. :/

Sorry to hear that it happened to you as well! :(

I have no idea who it is, so I can't imagine what could be the reason. I'd say, just move on. I have "lost" quite a few people who I had been "friends" with on social media for many years lately... opinions do tend to differ in this period, about politics, coronavirus, etc, and some people do not feel up to discussing, they just want to not read things they do not like any more. So, better just to move on and not think too much about it!

Yeah, you're absolutely right about that.
I don't know what caused it, but 2020 has been mentally very stressful for all of us and I can imagine that people are ticked off more easily than usually.

As I rarely ever state any political ideas, I guess it must have been something else. Corona virus is more likely, I suppose. I've even argued about it with my best friends countless times. It is a very harsh and biased topic for all of us, after all. :/

So, it’s still only a partial lockdown. That’s good ( ... )

Yes, though I'm actually quite sure stricter measures are already along the way, unfortunately.
I'm just enjoying my weekend escapes as long as I still can without running into people, of course. :)

Well, mainly it became a rule for certain hotspots and city centers. In Italy and France you had to bascially wear it all the time when outside and that really didn't make any sense.
I read an interesting scientific paper about it and outside the risk is really low. In closed rooms it's so much higher, after a while without proper ventialation you're breathing air that has already been in the lungs of others and that's where it can get critical. Outside the chances are extremely low, though not zero of course.

Yeah, you're right and I do understand it. :/ .....
