you might want to think about "gifting" at least one of each of the prints to eric kripke. i'm sure he would be very enamored of your work. it is truly beautiful and very deserving of the A you got.
that second one is really, really good. it's actually a really clear picture - very clear what's going on. (and i'm not just saying that because, you know, i saw the pilot and i recognized the scene. :D ) the lighting is really nice.
Thank you! I was actually really worried about this one, since I didn't use outlines or anything. Wasn't sure if the textures would mesh with each other! I'm glad it looks okay though!
I've done some printmaking myself, and I've always struggled with woodcuts, so looking at what you've done here is really impressive.
I love both of these images, especially the one of the boys running. The image is so clear, but the light is imbued with a ton of texture (and I love the reflections on the road) that it just hovers on the edge of abstraction.
Woodcuts are really hard to make, what with all the marks and all to get the image you want. Very time consuming. I generally take an image, alter and reverse it with Photoshop before tracing it on transfer/tracing paper to tranfer onto the wood. And..carve away.

i love the bottom one here, from "Pilot" the motion and action are really there.

It's really different from drawing on paper, and I'm just glad that SPN happened to be good for a printmaking theme. Especially to carve out on wood.

It's interesting to see other types of art for Supernatural, and I happen to like woodcuts. The last one is my favourite too.
