just dont let him hear u call him a chinese parent, lol, i think he'd rather be called a taiwanese parent. a *traditional* chinese parent would marry a chinese person, not a mexican, and a *traditional* chinese parent wouldnt dislike people from china. a *traditional* chinese person wouldnt think of cell phones as just another way for other people to bother you (considering theres about 300 million cell phones in china?), and they wouldnt bitch about paying for school related stuff. and, her going out is assuming they LET her out in one year. and even so, out just means she gets to be out on school days, minus weekend, minus breaks, minus summer. i just can't see her dad shelling out another 10k so she can live at school, when he was already bitching about paying for SATs and APs

nancy!! its okay!!! parents are difficult sometimes. all of them are. but its okay, we'll all go out!!! we have to go out to eat tomorrrrow!!! cuz I'm leaving on sunday!!! we'll get you out, don't worry. haha.. always have fun and stay HAPPPPPPPPPPPPY! well, my dad is a good dad and i loves him
yet same as my mom, they want us to hang out and have fun, but claim that having friends is sometimes a distraction and that is not the most important thing in life (sth like sometimes we have to endure loneliness and focus on our goal blah blah blah)

but they are just worried and yeah.
i'm getting used to this and hmph
