I am in the process of making sloe gin, I feel like Mrs Beeton or somebody. I've added a bottle of gin to the half pound of sloes I collected from Western Park yesterday along with some sugar. Now I have to shake it up everyday, add some almond essence in a fortnight, and then wait until Christmas when it'll be ready to drink. I'm quite excited

My dad hates gin, so he makes sloe vodka instead. The Philistine! It tastes ok, actually.
