Yeah, I found a NES emulator for NDS that had a rewind button as well, it's a incredibly handy feature. I managed to beat one game finally because I could rewind before objects appeared on the screen and the game would randomly decide again if those objects would be sent on screen or not.

Ah well, I am content knowing I COULD have written it myself if it didn't already exist.
