The further I get into school, the more I start thinking about my career and my future, the more I start to worry.  I worry because I keep wondering "what if." What if the job I have had in mind all these years isn't what I want to do?  What if I decided, after all these years spent in school, that I don't want to do what I thought I wanted to do ( Read more... )

There are plenty of choices I've made that I now wish I had made differently. But over time I've come to realize everything works out in the end.

And so what if you change your career? People go back to school every day to get an entirely different degree. A prominent physicist got a degree in History and then immediately went back and got a triple doctorate in Theoretical Physics.

And sometimes, going back to school is as much fun as the new career itself.

yeah, i guess so.

i just get nervous/scared not knowing what is to come.

The irony of life is that to mature means to recognize when to be afraid. Your fears are fears we all share.

You're still got time; it's freshman year of college. Continue down the psychology path, and I'm definitely sure you'll find a specific concentration you love, forensics or otherwise.

forensics, with a concentration in psychology.

or really, just something dealing with psychology, but now i'm not too sure.
