The truth is, highschool isn't that bad. It's pretty entertaining, and theres those few annoying people that keep my days going

don't worry too much about pushing people away, everybody does it at one point or another, whether they're pushing away one person or a group of people. if those people really care about you, they'll understand you need space and they'll wait for you and always be there
