I know sometimes life takes a u-turn we didn't foresee or want, but I know you'll make the best of it, because you're that kinda person!
In all honesty my job is one of those that some days it's so painful to walk through the front doors, however, it's a job, and money, and I am doing some good somewhere. I do feel your pain honey.
I'm loving the doodles/sketches bb, thank you for sharing! ♥ It's good to hear from you! *hugs*
Thank you! It's too bad we can't always have everything we want. I think if I still can't grow some passion for the job after one or two years I'll quit and try to get a position which I really like. Like you said, it's a job and money. I think maybe I should save some money first if the right one for me is not in sight yet. I'll keep an eye on openings. Hugs!!!!
Thank you! I'm back from Korea! And do feel better after having some time with my roommates classmates and friends. My peers think differently than my colleagues, more open, and it was refreshing. I'll keep looking for the right position for me :) <3
I totally understand where you are coming from re: your job, but having work that you genuinely believe is making a difference is actually a rare thing, so take comfort from that and keep plugging away, I'm so glad you are getting a month off though, holidays and breaks are really important in keeping us sane!
Once the thesis is out of the way you might start feeling better about the work and will have more free time too - and hopefully your inspiration will come back! Love the pics - the Batwoman colours are so vibrant, and Damien Robin is wicked!
<3 I'm back! Every work day after I got off work I have to choose whether to heal my body by relaxing and doing nothing except watching some programs for inspiration or heal my soul by drawing, which usually keeps me up late at night and sleepy and painful next day...But I know I'm most happy when I make things instead of take things.
Yeah my biggest worry is that it'll turn me into a boring and lost person. Having a habit (drawing in my case) is the only thing that keeps me sane and being myself and ignoring the bullshit at work.

Hope you're able to find work in something you like sooner rather than later. Soul sucking jobs are well...soul sucking :(
