Here we go again. It's a relief to see that I'm not the only one who feels strongly about the "state of the forums", one way or the other. So basically the whole thing was started by Aery's ban. Frankly I can see a case for a ban, but at the same time I personally believe it was a bit excessive given some of the crap some other folks have gotten

I don't know that you'd find anybody who is 100% objective AND willing to take the time, I do believe that would be impossible.

You'd be better served finding multiple people of varying opinions on things.

Well I'm still fightin' the good fight. There's life in the old girl yet, I just hope the current administration makes the right calls before all of the quality posters leave.

Joining the forums created a string of events that lead to my current awesome life, and so I feel that I owe the place.
