Two things I like to do are write, and cook. Turns out one of my favorite authors is having a contest about both of these things. So he (or his publisher I guess) is having a contest where you write an essay, and if they pick yours it goes into the paperback version of the new book. Votes aren't everything, but they sure help. My internal clock is all out of whack, my Saturday was like 48 hours long, and I think I've got the Swine Flu or something.

First my Xbox 360 goes toes up, then tonight my router heaves off. I'm wondering now which will be the next gizmo to kick the bucket. Cell phone? Television? And how'd all this stuff start collapsing in the first place? It's not like I don't take ridiculous care of my stuff. Weird!

Nothing but love songs and commercials on the radio tonight. What a crap drive home.
