question: why does life get more complicated as it goes on?

i remember the days when the only things i feared were taking a nap and cooties.
there's just too much pressure, can't breathe.
there's just too much to care about.
oh, how much more fun high school would be if i didn't care.
o well, its too late now. right?

i'm lacking motivation.....
