My friend's mama, who does some sort of law-related thing in California, claims that middle names have no legal bearing- i.e. you can write in whatever pleases you for a middle name, even on a legal document.

I wouldn't be presumptuous enough to suggest a middle name, as I don't know you well enough, but just speaking for myself.. If I could choose my own middle name, I'd have taken my Father's, "Williams", as it always had a ring to it, to me (A common name, William, but with a little wee bit of extra flair with the "s", actually was his Mother's maiden name, or what was made out of it from the original Irish when she came to the States). Or I would go for Xavier, just because X would be an awesome middle initial *grin*.

If I were a woman, it'd be the name of a Pagan goddess - so many with a ring to em. Morrigan, Freya, Athena, Aphrodite, Psyche, Artemis, Hera, Hel etc.. A pity the Male god's names just never had such a "ring" to them (at least to my ears).
