Can anyone give me some pointers on what kind of gun would be best suited for me and my size? I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

The best way to tell is to hold it in your hand and see how it feels. You'll probably want to go for a smaller hand gun, though. They're easy to carry and don't have as much kick as the larger things.
