So.. The Refugee agency in New Haven has an opening for a Grants Coordinator. I could do the job and it is about 20 hours a week. Not FT but it could help me break in to the market, so I will apply.

Yesterday was a whirlwind of renewing my license and buying a iphone 3g. Sending out lots of resumes as well-Even to Nairobi! Hope to be out by July.

I got the Invite yesterday. I will officially be working as a HIV/AIDS Outreach Worker in South Africa leaving Jan 30th. I won't have a firm location until I finally get in country and complete pre-service training.

Resent last bits of medical to PCMO and called my Med contact and Placement Officer. Placement Officer called me yesterday to say he has a program ( didn't say where in Africa/What) but that the slot would disappear if I didn't get my stuff in ASAP. Hoping he calls me back today to at least give me a hint of what he's aiming for.
