I think Mark Twain was a very smart man. Huck Finn is a brilliant commentary on racisim and the social implications of that. Everyone has areas they're better at managing. My mother would have said that Twain was brilliant enough in literature that he couldn't take the time to focus on his money.

I don't think it's strange really. I think that with everything the City gives us to be afraid of that being afraid of the month is just a place to pin our anxieties until we have a more focused fear.
