The winds of change are blowing.

Where I was once weak, I am now strong. Things I once needed, I now only want. I see things that I want within my will to obtain. The changes in me are fantastic, and I didn't realize them until recently. The false exterior has fallen away and I have blossomed inside.

I'm not sure exactly why I felt like posting this, it just felt important.

So I made it through another Single's Awareness Day! Woo hoo. It actually wasn't too bad, I didn't give myself time to think about it. I spent a good portion of the day at work. I don't think I'm ever going to be the first one in someone's mind or heart. Girls seem to always like the exact opposite of what's actually good for them.

I know it's my role in life to be a guide.  I know it's my role in life to help those I care about along.  But whenever this situation pops up, I can't.. it's hard to deal with.  How do you give someone that you feel VERY strongly for advice in their love life?  It hurts like Hell.  But I do it every time.  I put myself aside and just.. help them ( Read more... )
