Please read: on using my translations in scanlations

I've said this before, but I just thought I'd better mention it again: Please don't use my translations in scanlations. People have done it before (without my consent!) and I'm sure people will continue doing it if I don't make clear that I absolutely don't want my translations to be used in scanlations. I would personally be quite upset if could no longer read your translations to xxxholic scanlations. It kills me that it takes a much greater amount of time for volumes in English to be released. Additionally, my local bookstore takes FOREVER to stock new manga. It drives me insane. For instance, volume 7 is supposedly out on the market and has been for quite some time, and yet my store won't receive it until June or July. Sure, that sounds like impatience. And when it comes to xxxHolic, my only complete obsession, waiting is not an option (in my mind, anyway ;P). I'm sure no personal anecdote will make you change your mind, but I wanted to put my views out here just so you're aware (not that you need to care or anything). I use the translations so I can keep up with the story as it's released. I then buy the volumes when they come out, because I know I'll read them again and again. I don't know how many scanlation readers actually buy the manga later, but I'm one of them. Your translations have been a godsend for feuling the xxxHolic

And I'm so feeling with you about the baseball thing! At the beginning I really had no idea what they were doing, i.e. when Tajima started calling 'rii riii' to indicate to the runner when to run. I was like "Riii...? Rii??......what?!"

That's the exact reason I want an anime/drama CD XD!
I'm already laughing so much at all his stuttering and his panicky reactions in manga...! Imagine what an anime would do to me XD!!!

Mihashi is the only thing on Abe's head anyway XD!!!And Abe's the only thing in Mihashi's mind, too!! XDD I already follow two different magazines so I only follow Oofuri by tankoubon. I've read up to the last volume 6. (By the way, I LOVE that scene where Mihashi nosebleed! Abe's reaction ROFLOL!! XDDD) Aaarrgghh, I can't wait for the next volume! Are they still in the game against Tousei in the magazine

Friend me if you like ^^! Oh, and it's not that I'm assuming that everyone who's reading my translations wants to use them in scanlations. It's just that people have done so before WITHOUT ASKING and I just wanted to make clear I don't want it. I hadn't said anything about using my translations in scanlations before I saw somebody stole them. They never asked if they could use them and I never even got an apology.
I bet they are still continuing to distribute my translations via irc or direct downloads or something >:( !!

that really sucks for both you and them and i hope that they stop because more likely than not its just gonna come back and bite them in teh ass in the future. my cousin used to be part of this really great group but then she used someone's summary without permission, got caught, and then got permanently banned. of course there are tons of other, bigger punishments for plagerism out there too but no matter what, copying people's stuff is just something you shouldnt do.

I've been previously reading your journal for the HOLiC translations (and on occasion the pretty pictures :D) And FIRST OF ALL I would like to thank you for doing that.

Second of all, you recommended ookiku furikabutte and mentioned you'd be willing to translate if you got scans, but you wanted to see how the site scanlating was doing? So went and DLed it under your stirring review, and Here's the first chapter. For all the fishes. Hope this helps out.
