Last weekend Susan and I realized that we had a free day, so we ran off and did a quick hike at to the Snow Hole. It must have been fifteen years since I was last there. Of course it was uphill both ways back then.

After almost half a year of trying, Susan and I are finally taking the first actual steps towards home ownership. I've been playing Team Fortress 2 for the past couple months (it is awesome) and then I started making a map for it (it is a little less than awesome). In a little over a week, Nate and I are going to venture out to the hills that I grew up in for a three day 35 mile hike along the Taconic Crest Trail (clicky pop for a rough outline of the trail on google maps).

So my computer is still broken. It was a little cooler last week, so I could run it for about an hour or two at a time. Now it's getting hot again and I could barely run it for fifteen minutes. Just enough time to get a few episodes of Rome onto a memory card and then watch them on Susan's computer while mine cooled down ( Read more... )
