I am currently tripping out over this site. I have a lot of real vague memories of seattle from being very young and into my teens too, but the city was so much different then it's hard to remember what it looked like. anyway I'm looking through these pictures and getting weird bits of memories coming back even if I can't place exactly where or

It never occurred to me that there was something there before they dug it out to make the Convention Place station.

good eye! I was thinking that looked like pine street but i couldn't figure out what the hell it was now.

I had to go to google street view to confirm that the angle with Metropolitan Park was correct. You can kinda read the street signs once you know what they say.
