Sorry for the bullet-point formulation:
  • Am lurking at home - may or may not have mumps - have had blood drawn and will know the results later today. Stupid body persists in falling over. *smack*

Thanks - was completely sure I'd not get in, so it came as rather a shock :)

And yes, mumps is not friendly. Most things are not friendly. Bleh, well, at least I know it is not something serious that would appear in a bloodcount, whatever it is.

Yay for hearing from you! Yay for getting into Uni! Boo on mumps etc.!

Understand about the tattoo - when I get mine done (I say "when" but it's not definite at all) it won't be visible in public :-)

Oh, well done! University that is - not mumps. I quite envy you the reading list - there is something about a new reading list - so many possibilities...Hope its not mumps,will keep fingers crossed for you.

Thanks - the reading list is (on futher investigation) very expensive. However, needs must, and a degree from Cambs is worth the expense. I hope. :) Still don't know re mumps, but will survive, I hope.

Mother, in a fit of genius, gave us the first MMR, and then forgot when we moved countries to give us the second. Which is why I may have mumps. Hopefully not though!

PS. Glad all so v. good with you at the moment, can't wait to hear more about supersekrit project!

Thanks - am still slightly stunned they accepted me. Still no word on the mumps results, but at least the bloodcount was okay - would rather have mumps than any of the nasties the bloodcount could have thrown up.
