since i dropped the first chair off at Ena's yesterday, received my fabric recommendations and a price quote (which was what i hoped it would be, $100 per chair), and have plans to fabric shop with Dave in Auburn at the $1.99/yd store this weekend, i figured it would be a good idea to record the "before" status of the chairs.

Dark green would be nice! It's got a really nice shape -- can't wait to see them finished!

i liked the shape too :) again, not quite as much as yours *lol* but the price utterly sold me. plus being able to give some work to Ena this winter, which has been slow. i'm pretty excited to see what she does with them, too :D

dunno how often i'll get over there to be able to take pictures of the guts of the chair, or if she'd let me help; the vibe i got from her was very much "stay out of my hair and let me do this; it's what i'm good at", only in a heavy Russian accent. :D i'll definitely try to remember to snatch a picture when i take the fabric over, if she's gutted the first one. i'm kind of curious!

I have been to the Auburn store. It has tons of stuff.

Can't wait to see the transformation.

i can't, either. :D i'm hoping they have something i really fall in love with. and that they have enough of it! since i'll need at least 12 yards or so, and i'd like 15 (in case of mistakes and for throw pillows).
