Well on Sunday was my Birthday and pleasant and relaxing day it was too. Spent the morning on the webcam to my Mum, late morning/lunch time at the museum and evening over at friends place where they cooked us dinner, all very civilized. I'm back in work and it appears that they have missed me as I already have a long list of things to sort out. Well we've planned our trip back to the UK and we'll mostly be spending time in Scotland. Kirsten's parents havn't see Cameron since he was 9months old so it only fair. After nearly 2 weeks in Scotland we're off to Florence and then travel down through Italy by train for my sisters wedding south of Naples. One week with my family there and then fly ( Read more... )

We have bought tickets back to the UK arriving on the 2nd May till the 5th June. The trip is primarily for my sisters wedding in Italy near the end of May and so That Kirsten's parents can see Cam for the first time in 2 years. We're going to be based in Scotland this year and hope to catch up with you guys at some point.

My son has been passing on his little pets again, leading me to have a rather dull weekend :(

On the up side we still are having a bit of a heat wave and yesterday we got to 33 degrees!! Possibly not the best day to be the cook at a barbecue but that didn't stop us, 45minutes later we retired to the indoors.....

Kirsten is now working back in Christchurch so we are finally getting some of our life back if only for it to be taken by the Christmas madness. Now we only need to move him to a nursery nearer home and life will be much simpler. Well Cameron has been walking now for the past 6 weeks and his confidence has grown to running, as well as leaving the shop we're in to visit the toy shop next door.... He can also stand up without using the furniture and has great fun pointing things out to us. Its great seeing all these little things he's learning even if its the fact he can now ( Read more... )

Did a 2 day tramp around Mt Somers this weekend and currently suffering the consequences. On the up side I did far better than I had expected so I'm obviously not getting as old as I though.
