The Story So Far: my dad has been in the nursing home for over a year. He ain't coming out from the looks of it. He could, all he'd have to do is commit himself to exercising his legs and doing what the PT people want him to do, but nope. Now his house is about to be taken away, and everything he owns

As long as the property taxes are paid up on your father's house and the lawn hasn't become severely overgrown, they shouldn't be able to take it away

Man, i feel for you...
there might only be 24 hours in a day, but sometimes i feel like a 30 hour day wouldn't be enough.

as the guy before me said, look to others for help- i REALLY can make all the difference. we all need a shoulder occasionally...

cant really say anything to help with the houses...i mean i am only in my early 20s and still live @ home ('mom and dad are great, letting me stay here). good luck on all counts though, you and your's are in my prayers.
