So, last week was a lovely week spent on a barge in Burgundy, France, and activities consisted of walking, watching the world go by, napping, visiting vineyards, chateaux, cathedrals, and of course a wee bit of shopping. I passed all the finals, and I get to graduate at 11am on June 27th, 2011.

I walk out the door of my younger brother's apartment in about 30 minutes to catch a taxi to Penn Station, followed by a train to Newark, followed by a plane to London, followed by a plane to Glasgow, then taxi back to the room. It's 20 past 9 in the morning, and I am still in my pajamas. This feels incredibly decadent. I finished up my week and a bit of doing work with the mixed practice (although I was doing lots of dairy cattle work), which was good. Tomorrow night is my last shift of Hospital Care/Out of Hours work as a student - hooray! Last week was midnight-8am, this week has been 4pm-midnight. Tonight, fortunately, it's quiet, so we'll get plenty of breaks (as long as it stays quiet, hopefully), so I'm taking the time to get my ICU report written up. Woo! I made it through the first two weeks of term. Another two weeks of equine to do (starting with being on call Monday and Tuesday nights) and then it's pretty much all small animal until May.
