hi, found the link from ontd, but wanted you to know that salma hayek is on the list, as well. she was interviewed by access hollywood and said explicitly that she was against it and that he should be put away for it (something about how his art doesn't excuse what he did). she is very much on the anti-polanski side. i checked youtube and AH's page but haven't found a video yet. it was on friday's show (today). :)

Thank you so much for this - I was starting to believe that no-one in the public eye was going to stand up against their peers over this (I'm following a few of of these on Twitter already, and when I saw their posts I was beyond happy)

Thank you! A friend passed this on after I asked if anyone knew of other celebrities speaking out against his horrific crime. I had heard about Kirsty Alley. I hope you don't mind that I'll be posting a link to this on my LJ.

I know! I just now read the bit where the prosecutor admitted he lied in the HBO documentary, to make himself seem more important, since he thought it would only be seen in France. I just. What? No, really, what?

There's something about this case that brings out the batshit crazy in everyone associated with it, I swear.
