If Facebook has taught me anything over the past year, it's that everyone wants to be friends with a robot.

I've always read and thought about Song of Songs as beautiful writing describing the relationship between a husband and wife, which it is. But as I'm trying to grow a more intimate relationship with God, I've been trying to think of Him as my love, as my husband. So there I was, 30 seconds ago, in my bathroom looking at my newly pink eye.

I was pondering whether my eye is pink because I've been rubbing it, or if I've been rubbing it because it's pink.

It's clear that I have a pink eye. But do I have pink eye?
