So really looks like it's between:

Droid - Real keyboard - Verizon - Android (so more open, but less apps)
iPhone - virtual keyboard - AT&T - iPhone OS (more closed, but more apps)

Both seem basically to be the same price in the end, for both plans and phone cost...
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

So, I need a new phone quite badly and doesn't necessarily mind changing from T-Mobile. Knowing not a ton about the latest, what should I get, folks? iPhone? Droid? Cliq? G1? Something else? (Note: Real keyboard = highly preferred ( Read more... )

I bought a bicycle yesterday at the Somerville bike auction. Amusingly enough, like 8 hrs. later and in another city, I later bumped into someone else who had just bought a bicycle at the exact same auction. It is a tiny world!

Halloweenie day is NOW. We will be going until early evening. Come eat hot dogs.

So, currently I have Comcast cable and internet. No HD reception, no DVR, and only showtime as far as premium channels go...I don't have the triple play with the phone (what's the point?), just the digital TV + Showtime and the Internet ( Read more... )

I *highly* recommend that *any* person reads this article. I have a hunch this got floated around by various folks a long time back, when the article first was written in 2007, but I only just now saw it.
