Let me start off by saying that I made the Northern California Flute Camp!  I got a package in the mail yesterday from them, and I'm in!  Woo!  Now, I've just got to book my flight (hopefully I'll be able to fly with Sarah, my friend from New Orleans who also made it), learn 3 pieces good enough to play in front of flute players who actually know

Monterey is really great. However, if you want to go to a town that is even more beautiful, go down the peninsula to visit Carmel By The Sea. I spent my birthday there this year. It's one of the most charming towns in all of California (make sure to get tea at the Tuck Box!)

And when you're in Monterey, don't forget to go to the aquarium. The animales are breathtaking!

Thanks for the advice, I'll try to do that! Is Carmel By The Sea associated with Carmel Valley? That's where I'll be staying.

It depends. I might take a college math if I take half a day at SLU.

I definitely see him as a flute type. Piano too! Anything, really.
