You've been there 5 years and you'll be paid more if you get $10.50/hour?

I think you should leave. Even if the mall thing doesn't work out, 1) you know you need a better paying job and 2) I feel like you could return if things didn't work out.

I definitely don't feel like it's hasty to go for a better job that would not be overly demanding!

you can get $10.50 at a mall? nutty.

i hated working at a mall, but it was at a starbucks. i think mall customers (especially starbucks mall customers) are about 10 IQ points lower than normal starbucks customers.

Finding a new job that pays more and will make you happy is never a bad thing. Go for it. :)

do it. Food service = not fun. Make-up = fun. And whoever mjthomas is....I LOVE Hef's girlfriends. The Girls Next Door is one of my favorite shows.
