I'm wondering if anyone knows who the artist of this song is. All I can remember from the lyrics is that it goes something like this, "...sittin' on the dock of the bay...with the tide rolling in..." Sorry I don't know the title either.

I think the original song is by Otis Redding, but I know many bands/singers have adapted it, so I'm not sure what artist you heard it by...

Yup that's "Dock of the bay by Otis redding! One of my favorite songs!!! Um... I know that Micle Bolten(didn't spell that right) had a alright version floating around somewhere too.
