Elbow Pains
Well, September sure has dealt me some interesting cards. Its exit gift to me was an elbow fracture yesterday at my softball game. Nice little trip-then-a-flip with a crash landing on my twisted arm. I'm in a splint and a sling for at least a couple of weeks, and probably can't drive for a few days. You don't realize how many things you need both ( Read more... ) -
"Death and Funerals"
A late night jog down Sunset Blvd sparked an avalanche of thoughts for me tonight. My playlist kept blaring through my iPod headphones, but i don't think I listened to a single song. "Early Graduation!"
Stoked. I just got back from my advising appointment for Spring 2007 classes, and I'm on track to graduate one semester early. If I take 18 units next semester, I'll only have one 15-unit semester left after that. I won't even need to take summer school. I can always take it if I want to lighten my load and have a really easy senior semester, ( Read more... ) -

Earlier today at convo hour (the block of an hour's time that LMU has without any classes scheduled to provide for a time to build community in the school through events), one of the service organizations was running a "Locks of Love" session. "Third Year"
The new schoolyear started yesterday at LMU. I was so busy this summer that it flew right by. It's weird sitting in a classroom again after 4 months of summer. I never look forward to schoolwork, but I think my classes this semester will be alright. None of them should be too dreadfully hard, with the exception of one. Today marks one week of being a vegan for me. And I must say, it's hard as hell. It's odd to think that my conversion was initiated, processed, and completed in just a matter of minutes after watching Rise Against's "Ready to Fall" video and looking at a bunch of stuff online.
