It will be WONDERFUL. It looks right at home pinned on his robes! Until Edward rips it off and stabs him in the eye with it!

He'll be dead in a week; Nick clearly wanted the position enough to lie about it even though he must have known we'd all find out on the train, and Edward wanted it too, yeah? He'll be lucky if he lives to friday.

I should start writing up a will.

Never a bad idea.

You're not exactly encouraging him, you know.

It's a little tidbit of friendly information is all!

I know it looks bad with neither him nor the head girl having been prefects before and there being people like Edward and Chloe about who have had experience. But I'm sure the professors wouldn't have appointed them if they couldn't do the job.

Merlin, they really mustn't think well of the current batch of seventh year prefects, yeah?

You're right, and they probably don't need me harassing them either.

It's awfully odd, especially since it's not like our prefects are bad or anything! But, like you said, they must have a reason.

I've been doing it too. I feel a bit sorry for him, to be honest.

A reason the rest of us will never find out, it seems like.

I don't, not really; he's being awfully pushy for his first proper day in office, especially considering he doesn't have any experience. If He keeps on like that, he's going to have a lot of people mad at him. If it ever looks like I'm going to punch him, stop me.

Yes, and that thing about the kittens was just too much. Corrie Bulstrode seems to know a lot about animals and I doubt she'd have given them away if it was dangerous. Kirke wrote about it, but I have the feeling he put her up to it, or at least gave her his backing. Godric, imagine the two of them together.

That pissed me off. It was completely unnecessary for the other three kittens, and while it's probably legitimate to request that Professor Renfield take a look at Spinach, there was no need to be rude and pushy about it.

Assuming they decided on Yaxley first, that's probably why she isn't Head Girl. There'd be a reign of terror.

I don't think she knows any other way of how to ask, that's the sad thing. Just like how Nick can't offer criticism without being- They should have just trusted that all the other cats were fine. After all if one of mine started breathing fire, I think it would be difficult to miss.

That would be horrifying. I'm sorry they naffed you off.

Probably true, but still irritating. It'd be impossible to miss another fire-breathing itten, we're living in small dorms, after all.

There was no violence, so it's all good.
